The turn signal indicators on both the helmet and Firefly Mini lights can indeed be activated using the Lumos Remote (not the Remote Lite).
How to Pair the Lumos Remote with Your Firefly Mini
- Before initiating the pairing process, ensure that all of your Firefly Mini devices have been assigned a position within the Sync Grid. In most cases, the app will prompt you to pair the Remote if this hasn't been done already.
- If the app does not provide a prompt, manually place all of your devices close to each other. This helps ensure a strong connection during the pairing process.
- Place both your Firefly Mini and the Lumos Remote into pairing mode. Hold down the "L" and "R" buttons on the Remote simultaneously until the lights begin to "breathe," indicating that they are in pairing mode.
- For the Firefly Mini, firstly, turn the light off completely. Then, press and hold the power button until it starts to "breathe" as well.
- After a few seconds, tap on either the L or R button on the Remote. The light that was previously in pairing mode should exit and return to a normal mode where the lights are no longer showing a breathing pattern. This indicates a successful pairing.
- Press either button on the Remote once more to verify that the pairing is successful. It may take a few moments for the pairing to fully take effect.

Troubleshooting Turn Signal Performance
- After setting up Firefly Mini devices, a helmet, and a remote via the App, the turn signals should work. If the Lumos Remote's turn signal performance is not ideal, please ensure that your Lumos App is not turned on when using the remote with Lumos devices.
- Ensure that your Lumos Remote is on the latest firmware version. If you see an exclamation mark on the Remote in your Sync Grid, it indicates that your firmware is outdated. Click on the exclamation mark, and you will be prompted to update it.
Troubleshooting the Missing Remote Icon (+) on the Lumos Ride App
If you've already paired your helmet and remote but the remote icon (+) isn't showing up on the Lumos Ride App, follow these steps:
- Remove all Existing Pairing
- Uninstall and Reinstall the Lumos Ride App
- Pair the Firefly Mini with the Lumos Ride App
- Pair with Remote
If you are setting up your helmet and remote for the first time, please pair the Firefly Mini to the App and then pair it to the Remote.
