Getting your Lumos Sonurus helmet synced up with its remote control is quick, straightforward, and essential for keeping yourself visible on the road. Whether you're setting it up for the first time or reconnecting your devices, here is exactly how to do it.
Step 1: Put Your Helmet into Pairing Mode
Before touching the remote, you need to make sure your helmet is ready to talk to it.
Start with your helmet completely turned off.
Press and hold the Helmet Power Key.
Continue holding until the helmet indicates it has entered Pairing Mode (the lights will begin to pulse/flash to signal it's ready).
Step 2: Pair the Remote Control
Once your helmet is waiting in pairing mode, grab your handlebar remote.
Locate the L (Left) and R (Right) buttons on the remote.
Press and hold both the L + R keys simultaneously for about 2 seconds.
The indicator lights on the remote will light up, signaling that the pairing process is successful.
Step 3: Test Your Turn Signals
Always double-check your connections before hitting the road. Here is how to test that everything is working perfectly:
Testing the Left Signal
Press the L Key: The left indicator light on your helmet will begin to flash.
Press the L Key Again: This will turn off the left flashing light.
Testing the Right Signal
Press the R Key: The right indicator light on your helmet will begin to flash.
Press the R Key Again: This will turn off the right flashing light.
Ready to Ride? > Once both sides flash and turn off correctly, your pairing is complete and you are ready for a safer ride!
