The rear light panel on the Matrix has 6 customizable flashing patterns so you can stand out like never before! To switch between those patterns, simply short press the power button when your helmet is on.
To customize the light patterns: download the app, turn on your Matrix, pair your helmet with the app and select the patterns that you love best.
You can create your own personalized light settings and change the light settings exactly how you want it to be: i.e. turn on/off lights, different patterns, the brightness and even the speed.
Please note that when you change your light settings, it will overwrite the previous light setting.
How to change the front light
You can adjust the brightness of the front light by (un)filling the bar. The fuller the bar, the brighter the lights.
To change the pattern of the front light, tap on the white line (front light). Remove or add lines in the Flash Pattern Creator to find your perfect mode. A straight line stands for solid light, whereas no lines stands for lights off. You can also choose one of the 6 presets. Your helmet will automatically show the changes in light settings.
Tap ‘Push to helmet’ to save the new mode when you have found your preferred light setting. Please note that when you save this new mode, it will overwrite the previous light setting.
Once the mode is saved, you can select it with your helmet, by short pressing the power button when your helmet is on.
How to change the rear light
To change the pattern of the rear light, tap on the Rear Light box in your App's dashboard (Main Menu) .You can find it right below the front light.
You will then enter the Animation Library where you can select one of the 27 pre-sets. Please note that if your phone has a smaller screen, you might have to scroll down to see all the available pre-sets.
You can adjust the selected pre-set to your preference in the Custom Animation screen.
If you do want to turn off the rear panel, while still using the turn signals and/or front light, you can select the animation 'Battery Saver' or remove all the stripes to turn off the rear lights.
Once your customized animation has been saved it will become one of the 6 patterns on your helmet. You can then easily select it in the app or by pressing the power button while your helmet is on.
