Helmet
We suggest you give your helmet a quick wipe with a soft cloth when you are done with a ride, especially after one in the rain. Even though our helmet is water-resistant, and the electronics are sealed, please do NOT take it to the shower to give it a wash.
We recommend leaving your helmet to dry with the open side downwards on a flat surface and in a dry, well-ventilated area.
Straps
To clean the straps, you can use a damp cloth. Please wring out the cloth, so most of the water is removed from the cloth then wipe the straps gently.
Padding
To clean your helmet padding, simply remove them from the helmet (they are attached with velcro) and hand-wash them with mild soap or laundry detergent, then line dry the padding instead of putting them in the dryer.
Warning
Some acids/oil can cause polycarbonate to become very brittle and crack, so please DO NOT use any chemicals to clean your helmet.
