You can use the Lumos App to select and adjust your preferred light settings.
Default light settings
You can select one of the default settings:
- Turn on your helmet and make sure it’s paired with the Lumos App. Click here to check out our pairing guide!
- Launch the Lumos App.
- On the All Devices Page, click on your helmet/device then you'll be able to select from 3 different light modes (labeled 1, 2, and 3).
By default these options stand for:
- Solid mode
- Slow flashing mode
- Fast flashing mode
Personalized light settings
You can also create your own personalized light settings:
- Turn on your helmet and make sure it’s paired with the app.
- Launch the Lumos App.
- On the Light mode section, select one of the pre-programmed options (1, 2, or 3).
- Now, change the light settings exactly how you want them to be: i.e. turn on/off lights, slow flashing, fast flashing, slow+fast flashing combined, whichever you fancy. You can either choose one of the available presets or entirely customize the light settings by tapping on the white line to change the front light and tapping the red line to change the rear light. Remove or add lines to find your perfect mode. A straight line stands for solid light, whereas no line stands for lights off.
- The app will show you a preview of the selected/created pattern. Press "Push to Helmet" to confirm your selection.
Please note that when you push this new mode to your helmet, it will overwrite the previous light setting! - Once the mode is saved, you can select it with your helmet (without the app), short pressing the power button when your helmet is on.
Adjust the brightness
You can adjust the brightness of the lights by (un)filling the bar. The fuller the bar, the brighter the lights. Please note that a higher brightness does impact the helmet's battery life.
