USB-C Lumos Remote upgrade offer

To make it easier to move your compatible Lumos setup to BLE, we’re offering the USB-C Lumos Remote at cost on the Lumos website for three months from the release of this update.

This is an optional hardware upgrade. You do not need a new remote to use scenes, synchronized scene changes, or synchronized power controls with your compatible 2.4G setup.

Which remote is included?

The offer is for the square Lumos Remote with a USB-C charging port.

The round Remote Lite and the older square remote with charging contacts cannot be upgraded to BLE.

Is this upgrade for me?

· I use Remote Lite or the older charging-contact remote

If you want to move compatible devices to BLE and use hazard lights, you’ll need the USB-C Lumos Remote.

Before purchasing, check your devices in Which new features can I use with my devices?

You do not need to buy another remote to upgrade a compatible setup.

What do I do when the remote arrives?

Buying the remote does not automatically change the firmware on your existing helmets and lights. Complete the required update and pairing steps, then check that your compatible setup works together before riding.

Do I need to replace my helmets and lights too?

Compatible existing helmets and lights can move to BLE through firmware updates. Check your specific models before purchasing a remote.

Can I keep using my current remote instead?

Yes. Remote Lite and the older charging-contact remote can continue working with compatible devices on 2.4G.

After updating the app and available device firmware, you can still use supported scene customization and synchronized power and scene controls.

You only need the USB-C remote if you choose to move a compatible setup to BLE and use features that require it, such as hazard lights.
