If you're unsure which app to download for your Lumos helmet, you're not alone! The answer depends on which version of the helmet you own, Nyxel Quin or the standard Nyxel with MIPS. Here's a simple guide to help you get started:
If You Have a Nyxel Quin Helmet. You should download the [Quin Within App].
The Nyxel Quin is equipped with smart safety features like crash detection and real-time impact data. The Quin App connects your helmet to your smartphone to activate these advanced features and keep you protected on the road.
(Available for both iOS and Android devices, search for "Quin Within App" in the App Store or Google Play).
If You Have the Standard Nyxel with MIPS. You should download the [RideLumos App].
The standard Nyxel with MIPS does not include the Quin crash detection system. Instead, it connects via Bluetooth to the RideLumos app, where you can manage your helmet's light settings, battery status, and firmware updates.
(Available on iOS and Android search for "RideLumos" in the App Store or Google Play).
Android and iOS users can also scan the provided QR code to quickly download the Quin app directly from within the RideLumos app.
Not Sure Which Version You Have?
Check the inside of your helmet or the packaging:
If it mentions Quin or crash detection, you have the Nyxel Quin.
If it mentions MIPS only, then it's the standard version.
You will see the Quin label on the Lumos Helmet if its the Lumos Nyxel Quin.
