How to Remove the Battery on Your Lumos Standard Nyxel (Non-MIPS)

To replace the battery pack for your standard Nyxel helmet, simply follow these steps:

Step 1

Turn Off the Helmet
Make sure the helmet is completely turned off. If it's on, press and hold the power button until the lights go off.

Step 2:

Locate the Battery Compartment
Flip the helmet over so you can see the inside. You’ll notice a small section in the back area that is the battery cover.

Step 3:

Remove the Battery
Once you've located the battery pack, gently pull it out by holding it at the sides. The battery pack is connected by a small plug, carefully disconnect it by gently pulling the connector and avoid yanking or pulling it forcefully

Step 4:

Inserting back the battery.

Carefully align the new battery with the connector inside the compartment, Make sure the pins are aligned with the plug, following the 'R' (Right) and 'L' (Left) markings to ensure correct orientation. Gently push the battery into place until it is securely connected do not force it, as the pins are delicate and can be damaged. Once connected, place the battery fully into the compartment and press the two sides firmly until you hear a click
