Follow these steps to connect your Nyxel helmet to the Quin app.
Before you start
- Charge your helmet for at least 30 minutes
- Install Quin from the App Store or Google Play and create/sign in to your account.
- On your phone, turn Bluetooth on. For Android, also enable Location permissions for Quin.
Pairing steps
- Open Quin
Launch the Quin app and go to Devices (or Add Device) - Put the helmet in pairing mode
Press and hold the helmet’s power button until the status light begins pulsing/blinking (pairing mode). - Add the helmet in Quin
Tap Add Device → choose Lumos Nyxel. The app will search for nearby helmets. - Confirm the pairing
When Nyxel appears, tap it. If your phone shows a Bluetooth pairing prompt, tap Pair/Allow. - Wait for the connection
Quin will finalize the setup. The helmet light will change to indicate a successful connection. - Test the connection
From Quin, try toggling the helmet lights/indicators to confirm everything works.
If a firmware update is offered, let it complete before riding.
What you should see
- The helmet LED pulses while searching, then goes steady/changes pattern when connected.
- Quin shows the Nyxel as Connected in the Devices list.
